Contents

The long term goal of my reserach at IRCAM is the developement of new paradigms for music performance and the interaction between gesture and sound process. Currently I'm involved with the development of new interfaces for music expression, gesture analysis for perfoming arts and the development of technology for music pedagogy.

Keywords: Sound and Music Computing, Gesture, Performance Modeling, Interactive media / Interactivity, New Musical Instrument, Tangible Interface.

In a previous life (before 2004), I've conducted research on biomedical optics for ten years (yet another very interdisciplinary field...)
